Science and Medicine Group Appoints a Vice President of Media Sales to Lead Growth and Continued Expansion of Media Properties
Arlington, VA October 17th, 2022– Today, Science and Medicine Group Inc. (SMG), a data intelligence company providing actionable insights about hard-to-reach audiences in life sciences and healthcare, announced the appointment of Benjamin Barna as Vice President of Media Sales. This announcement comes as SMG unveils its direction to aggressively advance its products and platform to help partners reach their target markets and grow their businesses. As an executive-level sales manager, Barna will use his extensive digital media experience to encourage innovation across all media properties, and lead growth that further capitalizes on SMG’s commitment to be a valuable partner to customers. In this position, Barna will oversee four SMG-owned media brands: AuntMinnie.com, DrBicuspid.com, LabPulse.com and The Science Advisory Board. A core responsibility of the role includes ensuring new digital strategies, and improvements on existing products and services align with customer needs.

Benjamin Barna joins the Science and Media Group team after working with small and large-scale operations such as Benefitsfocus, WCSC-TV Live 5 News, Adams Outdoor Advertising, and Sinclair Broadcasting. It is Barna’s goal is to bring a new and fresh perspective to the sales team.
