The Sales Manager position is responsible for the sale of Market Research products including Reports, Publications, Subscriptions, Data Products, and Custom Market Research.
The successful candidate with be self-motivated and enthusiastic to describe our insights solutions, reports, and data solutions to manufacturers so they can better understand the marketplace and their scientific and clinical customers. Consultative selling skills are critical to being successful in this role, as you will recommend key solutions from our broad product portfolio to best match customers’ business needs and budgets.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Engage on the phone, online, and in-person with clients and potential clients to sell market research related products and consultative project engagements
Understand and match our insights, market research, reports, and data solutions to solve client business challenges
Collaborate with our in-house team of insights professionals, scientists, and business experts to make accurate and strategic product recommendations to solve client challenges
Maintain and grow long-term client relationships
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in a relevant discipline
1-3 years sales, marketing, strategy experience selling market research related products
Background in life sciences or clinical diagnostics strongly preferred
Experience prospecting to find the right decision maker
Experience presenting solutions to clients and potential clients
Aptitude for critical thinking and close attention to detail
Strong project management and organizational skills
