Science and Medicine Group, Inc., is looking for a customer-centric individual who has a passion for analytics and the power of numbers to tell a story. We are offering an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team of scientists, market researchers, and analysts providing insights to major suppliers in the life science and pharmaceutical industries.

Successful candidates must have significant market research experience, be inquisitive, and have an interest in finding solutions to help make better business decisions. Candidate must have experience with advanced statistical methodologies and be interested in new innovative research and analysis techniques. This is not a “big data” position.  As a team we are focused on deriving key insights from market research data to guide businesses and markets that are changing the world around us.

Required education: Master’s or PhD degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline. Scientific background is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Serving as the day-to-day leader for company’s insights and analytics team. Contribute knowledge and expertise to the analysis, approach and interpretation of market research data.
  • Responsible for management and training of a team of market research data analysts, cultivating a growth-oriented work environment and innovating analyses and internal processes.
  • Developing and executing custom market research reports to address client objectives and drive insights
  • Analyze quantitative research data (including data cleaning, cross-tabulations, and advanced analytics)
  • Collaborate on survey design, and ensure functionality of programmed surveys
  • Create innovative data visualizations of market research results and data
  • Ensure quality of all market research deliverables
  • Explore new research tools, techniques and methodologies


  • Minimum 8 years of market research experience, leading projects and managing other research professionals.
  • Experience with statistical methodologies and quantitative market research methodologies.
  • Familiarity with analytical techniques such as conjoint, MaxDiff, regression, and multivariate analysis
  • Experience with a survey platform (e.g., Decipher), statistical software (SPSS), and analytics platform (Tableau)
  • Ability to analyze, model, interpret data, and present findings
  • Aptitude for critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, manage workload and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work unsponsored in the U.S.
