Science and Medicine Group, Inc. is looking for a customer-centric individual who has a passion for helping customers connect with our services and products. We are offering an opportunity to be part of a dynamic Arlington, Virginia based inside sales team providing assistance to major partners in the life science, imaging, clinical diagnostics, and pharmaceutical industries.
Successful candidates must have experience soliciting and servicing remote clients, bidding on and providing feasibility for market research projects, and have an interest in finding solutions to help make better business decisions. Candidate must be detail oriented, engaging over the phone, have experience bidding on projects from $10K-$100K, and enjoy working with other experts who deliver the services to our clients. This position is commission based.
Required education: Equivalent experience in a relevant discipline. Scientific, imaging, or clinical diagnostics background is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Outreach to remote clients over the phone
Serving as the day-to-day point of contact for outside firms.
Responsible for responding to 300 RFPs annually
Documenting activity in Salesforce.
Collaborate on the handoff of won projects to the project manager
Minimum 2 years of experience soliciting clients over the phone and providing solutions-based bids for jobs.
Ability to analyze, propose, document, and follow-up on RFP responses
Aptitude for critical thinking and attention to detail
Strong project management and organizational skills, manage workload and meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English required
